Who are we?
We are a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds in enterprise sales and marketing, learning & development and technology.  

We’ve led some of the largest sales organizations in the world, built innovative startups, hired and trained thousands of professionals, created landmark deals and launched hundreds of new products.  

What is esellas?
esellas is home for entrepreneurial-minded sales and marketing professionals we call Growth Pros (GPs). Esellas is also a sales engine for forward-thinking B2B companies to get their products and services into the hands of the customers who need them.  

What is a Growth Pro?
A Growth Pro (GP) is someone who is passionate and skilled in growing businesses and people. GPs are multi-faceted, diverse, agile, experts in either industry or domain, they understand how products or services are purchased, they are always learning and curious with a strong focus on driving for results.  

How does it work for growth professionals?
GPs are hired by esellas to work on behalf of our customers in either a full-time, part-time or advisory basis. GPs are vetted by our team to ensure there is a strong fit for esellas. We don’t claim to be right for everyone. In fact, we’re a little bit of an outlier in the world of sales. We deploy GPs, either individually or as part of a team, to the companies in our portfolio who need their unique expertise.

Do I need previous sales experience?
Having strong professional selling experience for some roles is required; however, we are also very interested in professionals who’ve never been in a professional sales role. The world of sales is rapidly changing, and what is required to be successful is also evolving. We have hired and trained hundreds of people over our career who have become very successful sales professionals.  

If I don’t have sales experience, how can I be successful?
There are several ways we support our GPs. First, we provide access to world-class training from several different leading companies and growth experts. For every month working for an esellas client, GPs accrue learning and development credits that can be redeemed in a variety of ways. GPs can also elect to have a coach and or mentor assigned to them regardless if they are assigned to a customer or not. We are building an environment that fosters collaboration with a strong peer network and group of experts. Lastly, we provide access to tools, templates and techniques to help any GP to be more successful in role.

So, what experience and skills are you looking for?  
We are looking for a range of experiences and skills that you can find in each of our role descriptions. Regardless of level of experience, we are looking for people who possess certain growth-oriented attributes. If you strongly identify with three or more of these qualities, you could be an effective Growth Pro: resourcefulness, resilience, authenticity, collaborative, creative, innovative.

Are esellas Growth Pros full-time employees?
We work within several employment models: W2 salaried, W2 hourly, and 1099 contractors. GPs are compensated for the time they are working on behalf of a customer. Due to the nature of the work we do, we charge our clients on a monthly basis and for meeting defined success criteria. GPs are also paid as long as they are assigned to a customer.

Do Growth Pros work at an office? On-site with esellas clients? Remote?
Yes, yes, and yes. It depends on the specific client situation and determined on a case basis. 

Does being an esellas Growth Pro require travel?
Possibly. We are representing our clients’ businesses and in many cases that means we are the face to their end customers. Depending on the role within esellas, face-to-face meetings might be required. That said, esellas clients are growing ever more comfortable with web/video conferencing.  All GPs need to be comfortable with all client interaction platforms.

Do Growth Pros work for one esellas client?
Depending on the situation, a GP may be assigned to a single client or may represent multiple clients who are non-competitive with one another.  

Can anyone become an esellas Growth Pro?
No. We are very particular about the culture we are building. We are creating a strong collegial environment where collaboration is crucial. Contributing to other people’s growth is an important quality for anyone who joins us. We love strong talent, but we’re not interested in superstars who play at the expense of others.  

We are also very serious about delivering results for our clients. We are looking for results-oriented GPs who responsible for a sales or revenue target, meeting deadlines, and high-impact situations.

We are looking to attract professionals who are at various stages in their career. We are looking for professionals who are winding down their career but not ready to retire, those who are returning to their careers and early career professionals.  

I currently have a job. Is esellas for me?
Quite possibly. Applying to join esellas’ is not a declaration to leave your current role.  We encourage professionals to join us in a “non-active” status to take advantage of the community, learning opportunities and to be considered for exciting assignments and career opportunities.  

You do not have an obligation to say “yes” to a role within esellas, however, we do ask that you make a contribution to the community by either become a coach or mentor, sharing ideas and best practices, creating a learning module or even referring others GPs or clients to esellas.
